yeah I guees that hp estimate of mine <was> a tad conservative.Still I feel in the end the hp will be declared to be less than 400.

pretty positive it will be the Nissan skyline gtr, nissan is going back to being the sports car company they used to be with the 350, spec v, the new max (supposedly), and the way they have made the altima hardcore.

Also the concept has nissan badges plastered all over it

The closest japananese Sports car, the Acura/Honda NSX is an Acura here...

If the new Skyline has Infiniti badges on it, I'm going to be pretty perturbed.I know it's just a name, and it's cosmetic, and it should be insignificant, but it isn't.It's a Skyline, and it should say Nissan on the front.... my 2 cents anyways

I think they are doing that just cause honda nsx came over here and they called it acura, dang honda's, allways gotta ruin it for everyone, lol.

The new Skyline is here, its 4 door, 260hp, priced around 35k and is called a G35.

The new GT-R coming out will not be called a Skyline, it will simply be a GT-R. I believe this will be put out by Nissan and will be in the 50-60k range, HP is a little blurry, but if its gonna be a VQTT I'd say 380.

Nissan officials did not state once that it was a Skyline, they simply call it the GT-R concept. Go to the Skyline forum, there is a long thread on it. They dropped the Skyline name for the new GT-R.

Well, they didn't say it WAS skyline, but they didn't say it WASN'T one either. I don't see where you are comming from on saying the new g35 is the new skyline and the new concept is only the gt-r. look at the new sentra se-r spec v. most people just call it the spec v, not the whole name.

The GT-R concept looks nothing alike, how can they be the same if they look nothing alike? They have a Skyline coupe and sedan. If that was the case they would have a version of the coupe called the GT-R, but this is not going to be the case. If you go to "more news" on that FA site you posted you will see they refrain from calling the the Skyline (although after their initial screw up). Like I said, check out the R35 thread in the Skyline forum, it is discussed there.
