I think all the engine forums should be put into a "tech" forum, and a general chat would do nicely.

Site Looks Good, but I agree with 240. SHould be some more categories out there for us, since 98% of users have 240s.

As a 240 guru I say keep the engine parts it's nice to have seprate areas for the 100 people asking "can I put an SR20 into my 240" , as for the "chat" thing, I really don't know if it would help but if people want it why not....

Keeping the engines separate is cool. It's also nice having a "The Ring" section so that we can keep the junk consolidated. I just hope people follow that rule.

As for a 240sx General Chat...I think it's needed. Not everything fits into an engine or technical question. Sure, it could go in "The Ring", but to be honest I personally never plan on going in there. I'd like to leave that are to the "kids".

Also, can you breakdown the meets and gatherings by locations like north eastern, west coast, blah blah blah, but it does help and looks nice to split it up

I agree with Daunttless and Jubs 100%

I think the moderators should add "General Discussions" section under 240SX, because I think The Ring's description discourages people to post topics that don't fit into the "KA, CA, SR, and All Motor" sections. It makes it seem like that section is all about BS and flaming.

Also, under "Meets", it would be helpful to have it divided into locations (North East, Westcoast, and Etc. Other forums have it like this)

Suggestion: Change the description of "The Ring" or make a new section called "General Discussions/General Chat"

OK... so it took me about a day to get my e-mail to get in here, other than that, not too shabby! These vBulliten sights (or whatever they are called) are quite handy to use, but what a lovely shade of lavender you decided on! This could get real annoying. I've searched around enough to say I think it's set up well, but only time will tell how it will end up I guess.

I dont live far from Port Jeff, maybe 10 minutes or less, i live in Centereach, and my dad lives in Stony Brook....if you saw a red 240 w/ black rims, black front bumper w/ a large intercooler peeking, that was me, doubt you saw me though, i dont drive it around that much...a lot of s13's around here, but i have a coupe, not too many of these : )

How did you like the trip? do anything good here?

Hey i think its expensive, but there is no way of getting a Java Script here or anything where it can be a chat room, is there? too much money right?

Yeah i didn't see any coupes i don't think. Yeah i come up every summer. My cousin has a boat in Mt Sinai, so we go out of there, fishing, skiing, tubing and stuff like that.

Definately a general 240SX chat, something about drifting :ylsuper and a section about racing other cars. Becuase it seemed there were a lot of people asking if their 240 could take their friends car in a race.

BTW, can you guys change the column width in the 240 section because all the engines and everything else is so wide going top to bottom, can u guys enlarge the end columns so its not as large.

I like the color scheme, easy on the eyes, unlike freshalloy. As for another 240sx section, i would like a general or chat section.

I really like the new format. But, It would be nice to have a room to chat in. It would sure be better chatting with other 240 lovers than most of the 'other' moronic sites out there.

By the way, I haven't driven my Mom's car in about Fifteen years!:icesangel
