Just curious if there is a correlation between solid crank pulleys and blown KA-T's due to con rod failure.Just cut and paste the following (or a moderator tell me how to make a poll)

Please state:-Turbocharged Mileage-Horsepower level-Possible Cause and Circumstances of the failure-ASP, UD, Stock or Other Pulley?

Reason I ask is because all the big HP engines that seem to last have the stock harmonic damper rather than a solid hub like ASP or UD.

Thanks for sharing.

-Turbocharged Mileage: 1600-Horsepower level: 430 at the wheels-Possible Cause and Circumstances of the failure: According to my machine shop: pure mechanical failure of the stock rods-ASP, UD, Stock or Other Pulley? Stock pulley, which was included in a full race balance of the entire motor.

-Turbocharged Mileage: 3000-4000 (high boost for the last 1k miles or so)-Horsepower level: ~380 at the wheels-Possible Cause and Circumstances of the failure: Too much power for the stock rods with 140K miles to handle-ASP, UD, Stock or Other Pulley? Stock pulley

Please state:-Turbocharged Mileage:7k-Horsepower level:250ish?-Possible Cause and Circumstances of the failure: Letting someone else drive the car, they overrevved it a little, and my bearing tollerances were way to tight .001 to be exact. I did not know this till the tear down. (spun bearin(s))-ASP, UD, Stock or Other Pulley? machine ballanced with the rest of bottom end, stock.
