I'm not sure how to weigh in on these stories. One the one hand, it's despicable behavior to talk about a woman that way - old traditional morals. But people say stuff. Then there's the neo-electronic tribe thing. I have no idea what Gawker is or why anyone would care who said what there, but that's the thing that's different. Otherwise, we're all free to be the biggest A-hole we can be.

So, it's really bad manners, but I'm having a hard time being outraged. Doesn't look overtly political to me. I'd say it's a sign of the times. I could even see it happening in reverse, with some college girl tellin a down and dirty tall tale about a night with that loser from North Carolina, for instance.

See? This is why I don't pay attention to the celebrities. I don't have to worry about being upset about Gawker crossing the line, or about Christine O'Donnell's sex life.
