Politics, aftermarket, imports, etc?

OK so all these new bills and crap our retarded hippie politicians are presenting are scaring me. pretty much because all i'm getting is here-say, i need details to educate myself to hopefully fight the upcoming political storm approaching our hobby.

I have 'heard' about bills being presented that would regulate things like tire manufacturing regulations, emisions, aftermarket part production, etc

anyone have ANY solid and legit information on this stuff? Maybe another enthusiast site that focus's on the politics with regards to imports/aftermarket/etc?? Kind of looking for some sort of news feed or community that i can keep up to date on this stuff.

if they do regulate the aftermarket part then millions of people lose the jobs and businesses because not only would it pertain to aftermarket part like intakes a exhuast little things like turning light's and hoses that where oem would cost 400 aftermarket would cost you 100 you know what i mean
