Conservative/Progressive score: 8You are a social moderate. You think the progressive movement is usually well intentioned, but is sometimes too extreme in its ways. You want to help minorities get ahead in life, but you also don't think its fair to give minorities an unfair advantage in life either.
Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 2You're a Capitalist Purist. You believe that the market should be completely free, and that the invisible hand of the market will make sure that the people get what they want and will do it in the most efficient way possible. You believe in small government, less taxes, and more privatization.
Libertarian/Authoritarian score: 2You are libertarian. You think that the government is making way too many unnecessary laws that are taking away our innate rights. You believe that the government's job is primarily to protect people from harming other people, but after that they should mind their own business, and if we give the government too much power in controlling our lives, it can lead to fascism.
Pacifist/Militarist score: 3You're a Pacifist. You are angered that the United States thinks it should dominate the world through its military force. You think that the only time war is necessary is when we are in direct danger of being attacked. You also believe the US spends way too much of its money on defense, as we can practically cut it in half and still easily defend ourselves, and use that money to fix all our economic problems.
Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Libertarian
(they pretty much nailed me as an absolute fiscal conservative, constitutionalist, and isolationist, however they muddled my fairly extreme social liberalism due to the reasons explained below)
I don't much like that it lumped certain things into my social stance that I wish wasn't there.
I view the social issue as two-pronged:
1.) Social Regulation (i.e. outlawing things). This includes abortion, gay marriage, drugs, et cetera. I say legalize them all and don't tell anyone what to do. I fully support the "cult of the individual". Absolute separation of church and state, etc. (note: I lump near complete firearms de-regularization in here too, to the left's chagrin).
2.) Social intervention (actively DOING things). This includes affirmative action, nationalized health care, and anything else that "helps people get ahead". These are NOT SOCIAL ISSUES, they are fiscal ones. My being against these things does not make me less of a social liberal, it just makes me more of a fiscal conservative.
