Polishing the Plenum

In working on my 94Q, the plenum has gotten soiled from general engine grease. I’ve tried using “Mothers” aluminum polish, and it just doesn’t work. Anybody had success polishing and what did you use.

Please… no “I got your plenum right here jokes” :)…..!

cdiver - You'd have to remove the rough finish from the sand casting. 16 hours with a dremel and you MIGHT get a smooth enough surface to polish.

Clean with simple green and water - Search for "steam cleaning" for more thorough instructions here.
