ive seen a few pics of ka-t engines that have the valve cover etc polised to a nice finish. can anyone tell me the steps to get mine like this. i have an extra one and i just sandblasted it, the next step is to polish. also, has anyone taken off the writing on the valve cover so its all smooth?

I did mine by hand the first time. I used steel wool and mothers polish. I worked on it for over 4 hrs but it looked like a mirror. Its much easier with hand tools though

If you have the time, and use enough elbow grease, you can produce some amazing results. I tried doing my turbo elbow pipes as a test. Came out REALLY good, but I don't think I'll be doing anything else.
