There are a few ways to do it. One is you can go to auto zone or where ever and by the airplane paint stripper and get down to the aluminum and then you can wet sand it with 1500 and 2000 grit and then polish it with some good metal polisher and this will get it clear enough to see you facial hair....if any at all.:D It will look like a mirror. Or you can strip it down and use the glass beads and sand blast it. The easiest way to get the paint off without having to spend......uh...oh yeah you have the ka valve cover...no paint. I feel like an idiot. Ok well for who ever wants to polish up there sr valve cover thats how you would do it and as far as the ka goes wet sand the large areas with 1500 and 2000 grit and then polish it with metal polish. And if you have a dremel you can use the small polish wheel to get the small stuff.
