what would be the best way to polish a lip on a rim, i get some racing peaks that have the two front nice but back set could use a good polish,any input would be appreciated

As long as they don't have a clear coat over the lip you can just go to sears hardware and buy all of the necessary polishing supplies, buffer wheels, and mild grit and go all out.
