So this idiot has a teenager dress up like a Jihadist with a RPG in order to test the response time of the Phx police department.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/09/26/ph ... cher-hoax/

Here's my problem with this, AZ has some very liberal gun laws. I used to open carry to and from my favorite indoor range all the time. If I had witnessed this at an intersection, I may have put a few rnds in his dumb a**, especially if he jumped out from behind something and waved that rocket at me.

Then I'd have to live with the fact that I shot and killed a kid because he was stupid. What the hell is with people?

Look at the bright side, had you done that I would have paid for you to take your piece to a gunsmith and have "Darwin" engraved on the slide. :chuckle:

HAHA....I dunno Mike, the sites keep dropping the story after I link them. Apparently no one gives a crap, not surprising really.

It's a conspiracy! I thought I saw a reference on the sidebar of the last link with some dumbass standing in traffic with an RPG. Very dumb thing to do and I would not have faulted the cops if they flipped his switch to the off position.

The city comptroller should tally up the associated costs of the response and bill the guy.

AZ actually does have a "stupidity" law in place. If you drive into a wash or require rescue from driving into some sort of flooding, which is a big problem in AZ, you get the bill afterwards. Great policy imho.

The way the teenager moves around shows clearly that is a boy playing with his toy...

Apparently you've never driven through an intersection...it only takes 1 second to drive through a 4 way if the lights are green.

With the amount of stupid people we have in America you can never tell what's "playing" and what isn't. Besides, unlike you, I've been to war against people that dress just like that. So you'll have to excuse me for not wanting to wait long enough to see if he's "playing" before I put an entire clip into his dumbass. Wait = death. Someone jumps out from behind something and takes aim at me, he's catching lead with the quickness. Same thing would apply to someone with a knife.

In this situation, it might preferable to kill the idiot with one's car rather than firing a clip and giving him lead poisonng. With a car, you could tell the police you simply swerved to avoid a squirrel and oops, you accidently hit an idiot carrying a fake RPG. Less likely to have charges filed plus you'd then become a PETA hero :) j/k

Hopefully, the idiot uncle gets hit hard in the wallet for the 911 + police time wasted.

That intersection may be between streets with 35mph to 45mph speed limit, you can tell...so it will take more than one second plus looking back thru the rear view mirror(s). The boy is not "suddenly" appearing with his toy but is jumping and walking around... even police is so well trained that before shooting at him, they showed up and took control of the situation...at least they have 20/20 vision to check with a fast view what is a real weapon and what is fake.

There is a scene where he's stepping out from behind a wall, maybe it's not in the video you watched. Also, stop assuming I'm driving. What if I'm walking with my young kids. Point is, the f*** kid was an idiot and if someone shot his dumbass he would have deserved it.

You mean magazine, right? He wasn't aiming a clip-fed weapon at him.
