I was a designated driver (well sort of) last night and before I dropped the people home I needed a drink so I stopped at 7-11 for a slurpee. Everything was cool except some stupid **** started sucking down slurpees straight from the machine and started pissing outside right in front of the store (I hate idiots). Anyways I'm yelling at this dumbass and the guy working at 7-11 starts taking down my lisence plate number (wtf I didnt do anything, I paid for my slurpee). Anyways, what's going to happen? I'm sure he gave the number to the cops. I wasn't 100%sober, but I was definetly good to drive because I didn't drink much, I knew I was driving. I'm guessing I'm banned from 7-11 or something, but once the guy saw that stupid kid get back in my car he took my plates. ****ing idiot im so pissed it was a great night until that. This is why non of my friends are idiots, I was just trying to be nice and giving these kids a ride home. I didn't know them.

nobody is ever getting a ride from me unless I know them real well. This is the second time I drove someone I didn't know too well and both times I got ****ed over. First time (kid was a friend of a friend, I don't pick up hitch hikers if that's what your thinking) my car ended up smelling cause the idiot didn't take showers or something and I spent a day cleaning out the iterior to get it smelling nice again, this time I get my plates taken... no more rides for people **** everyone

anyway anyone know what will happen because he took my plate #s? I doubt anything because a slurpee or two, however much that kid drank out the machine isn't worth the time and why take my plates I didn't do anything? whats the worst that can happen?

Probably took down your plates incase anything big happened. If he did file a complaint against you, I am sure the only thing that will happen is that the cops might call or stop bye to scare you a little. Really its your word against theirs unless they have cameras. I would have left their asses at 7-11 for being idiots. Then they can get their own Designated Drivers via the police department.

how long does it usually take them to call or come by? It's really complicated. It happened by where I live, but the car is registered under my dads name and he lives by new york.(little over 30 minutes away) Local police won't be able to come by it's a different county, maybe they'll call but my dads not home for a week because hes out of country so they cant contact the legal owner of the car, and in about a month it's going to be under my name anyway. Oh well I'm just not going to think about it anymore I didn't do anything wrong let the cops deal with finding me.. It would be preaty funny if they actually bother over a slurpee but who knows what that guy at 7-11 told them.. probably told them I was drunk and driving and robbed him.

dont worry about it man, this really isnt a situation that should get you in too much trouble. even if they do have cameras, that would only prove that you didnt do anything wrong... the only thing I can think of is maybe the cops will try and get the other kid's names from you, but I cant see them going through that much effort just for some urine on the sidewalk...

If the cops do show up at your house (which they probably won't), you have nothing to lose by being totally up front about the situation. Just leave out that little part about you being intoxicated in the slightest.

They will see what you did as a good deed and they would be fools to hold you liable.

Nothing will happen to you. The guy at 7-11 is probably too busy to bother following up on some Slurpee sucker. Hes not paid enough to really care and come after you.

Sort of unrelated...Once, I was at a party, everyone was 18-25 (I was 20 at the time) and there were plenty of people, plenty of drinks, but somehow a 14 year old girl was there, dangerously plastered.

I got worked up and pissed and kept asking how the freaking hell she got here. Everyone was like "Just let her lay down in the yard" etc etc.

Hell no, I'm not letting some kid die in front of me or stay in an environment where someone could take advantage of her stupidity.

So I took a huge risk and drove her home. I gave her a bucket but she puked on the seats anyway. Not a big deal since I was having the seats reupholstered in a week. Dropped her off in front of her house with someone who knew her, and left.

I love having a good time, but some people are freaking irresponsible. Imagine that kid being your sister or daughter?

Argh! Morons!

Off the soapbox now...

They aint gonna mess with you. If they were you would have done have an officer talk to you. And that would be the extent of it.

They would probally tell you to tell your idiot friend not to go back, but that should be it. I know here if they dont find you at the location they aint doing anything. The most they would have done then is get dumb *** for indecent exsposure, for pissing on the side walk.
