Does anyone know the part number for the 1989 240sx radio "pocket" and the bracket that attaches to that pocket?

My 240 came without one and it looks like the cleanest way to install my head unit would be to get that part from the dealer.

Thanks,K

Bump: my bad, but i actually have a different question, but didn't believe that it warranted a new thread.

I called a local Nissan dealership for the part and was told thatthe radio pocket and the metal brackets are sold separately. The radio pocket being $25 and the brackets $50 each (meaning $50for the left and $50 for the right).

Could someone tell me if this is pricing seems right? It seamsexorbitantly high, $125 for the whole setup. I can see $25 forthe pocket but $100 for two small metal brackets is outta line.

Thanks for the info,K

It's high but don't think you're going to get any better from a dealership. My suggestion would be to keep an eye on the classifieds section and see if you can't score one for cheap from a parted 240.

Seems like the brackets are flimsy anyway. Mine are gnarled... but still work. I might have to straighten them up before I mount my Head unit back in.

I hope you didn't pay that, but if you did, sorry. I paid $23 apiece for my brackets from the dealer. If you paid $50 each, he should have taken you to a movie first.
