PO443 J30

Hello, I have PO443 set and po773, or 772. I forgot, its the one for the gear ratio in number 3 being incorrect... Anyway, I hope thats from the mud I was in the other day- my exhaust smells like gas, and that 443 has me concerned. I have looked high and low for answers to this. First, where the hell is the solenoid purge valve? Is it near the canister by the air filter box? Also, the radio channels reset every time I start the car. I can take the key out and come back, put the key in, then just turn on the key half way, still there. Start and they are all erased. I hate AM530. HA. The clock keeps time, and the battery is new. I will do almost anything for a picture or description of that valve. Thank you all so much.
