Windshield wipers will not turn off until i turn the car off... while the car has power, i can the turn switch to off, ive played with that little twisty knob.. (on the end of the windshield wiper switch/handle).. the only way i can turn it off is to kill the car. 2002 nissan altima 2.5

Did you get this resolved? I would normally perform an auto active test on it. This would test the windshield wipers automatically to see if they turn on an off on their own. If they do, then you can deduce that all is OK with the system itself, and the only thing bad is the little knob switch.
