Uh, you don't have to buy new wheels for the rotors to fit. I said the calipers may or may not clear depending on the wheels you have on the S13 right now. Drilling the rotors to 4 lug is a cheap procedure, from what i remember its either 1 or 2 extra holes. Unless you are having some kind of issues with your stock calipers leaking/needing to be rebuilt you don't necessarily have to upgrade to Z32 brakes. You can just get some decent pads and slotted rotors and call it a day, or go with cheaper Q45 calipers/rotors instead. Its up to you. But you need to do some more research on the subject.Mixmastamunkh wrote:okay so... i don't have the right rotor size. i can't figure out how to find out what size the rotors i'm buying are. i have to buy new wheels for my car if i want the rotors to fit. i have to get the wheels drilled if i want them to fit.
-this isn't going to work is it? should i just put on the stock 240 rotors and get some greenstuff brake pads? i'm starting to REEEAALLY feel like i'm not going to actually be able to do this whole brake upgrade.
Did you even read what i wrote? I said, rather, -- insinuated that pre-93 7-spoke alloys will clear the calipers. Not by much, but enough to fit. I would know since i have a 92' S13 with Z32 26mm calipers/rotors and 7-spoke alloys. Geez.Mixmastamunkh wrote:i've searched this before and come up with not much to help. i'm still very confused so i don't know. btw i DO have the pre 93 7 spoke alloys, so i geuss they won't fit. i already HAVE the calipers so i'm not sure what to do. i suppose i could get them drilled easily enough but i'm starting to think this process is going to cause more harm then help. nowadimean?
