when i removed the pistons from the DE engine, i assumed it was bored by the last owner b/c there was no ridge at the top of the cylinder and the pistons says 05 ontop. i order some forged pistons w/ .5 mm oversized and when i go to put them in, they dont fit. i remove the rings and reverse the piston just for the hell of it and see if at least the top will fit and they do but only up to about half the top piston. Do i have a oversized bore or not? thx for any help.

p.s. i already have the crank in it so would i have to remove it before the machine shop can bore it or can they do it w/ the crank inside the engine?
