if you have a 240... the easiest place is where the main wiring harness goes into the firewall by the passengerside inside the engine bay. Ontop of the rubber garmet, cut an X with a razor being careful not to cut any of the wires on the harness. You can pass I believe a wire as big as a 0 gauge through it and it'll be just fine, plus the garment will form a pretty good seal around the power cable if you didn't cut the "X" too big. You can take off the foot trim covering the ECU and the long plastic trim (forgot what it's called) with the 4 plastic screws, take off the carpeting or just peel it back a bit and underthere has a great spot to route the power wire all the way back to the trunk. Hope this helps!

yes there should already be a pre-existing ground wire for your deck (black) if not, it's as simple as finding some solid bare metal in behind your deck and screwing the deck's ground wire to it... the amp should also have a seperate ground in located near the amp itself... use the same gauge wire as the power wire you're running to it, and drill a hole & sand down the area which you are going to screw the ground down with, you can use a nice fat washer too help make a more solid connection for the ground, think that's it :)

oh and remote wire is typically blue, but check manual just incase...also, somethin to remember is to run your rca's as far away from your power wire as possible to reduce noise in the line, like run them down the opposite side of your car or down the middle underneath the center "console/glovebox"

you shouldn't be running your rca's and power wire on the same side, you will get unwanted noise out of your speakers at low volume...

but check the fuses on the amp, make sure they're all ok, and remote wire may not be connected on the back of the deck... you shouldn't have a grounding problem unless you're tryin to ground to rubber or plastic :pface

oh sorry... so you DO have it connected to the deck? well if it's connected to the deck and hooked up to the amp, then there shouldn't be a problem... however if you hooked up the remote wire to the deck and then grounded that wire by touching it to metal like in your trunk or somthing before hookin it up to your amp, you can fry the remote wire on your deck... are there any settings on your deck to control your amp?

remote, ground & power all need to be hooked up to the amp in order for it to turn on... remote wire sends a signal from the deck to the amp, telling the amp when to turn on... as far as where else the remote wire could go on the deck, there isn't... just one wire that comes out of the deck's wiring harness and you need to extend that wire back to your amp... if you've got the remote wire run properly, and the power and ground are hooked up properly to your amp, the only thing else you need is rca's and speaker wire hooked up to the amp and it should work... if it still does not work, then you might want to get your amp checked out
