Plz Help Asap!!!

I am about to order the Veilside CIII body kit, and in about 3 weeks i am going to drop in an SR20DET....i was wondering if i would have to make any mods to the body kit in order for the intercooler to fit......???????????ANY help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!Jike

The SR has a SMIC so I can't imagine how that would affect your body kit. If you switch to a FMIC.... then you might have to trim the inside of the bumper.

Well that kit is hidious in my opinion but there does appear to be a hole there where air can flow into the SMIC. If you get an FMIC you may have to cut or you could work a way to angle your radiator and fmic but that would be more work.

Haha, way to be blunt. I'm not too partial, but to each their own, I guess. You'd have to see the bumper and check out the dimensions when you get it.

honestly, i doubt it. veilside is high quality **** (also JDM, which means that it would hope an sr20det would be under the hood, so the dimensions are probably set for an sr20det. know what i'm saying??

SR20DET's don't come with FMIC's though. You probably won't know about the FMIC until you get it. And I hope you're buying a real Veilside kit and not a knockoff one. Let the Civic kids buy the knockoffs, mmmkay?

Don't paint it when you get it, just slap it on. Also if you add a mailbox for a wing you'll be pretty pimp

to route the piping for the FMIC you're probably going to have to relocate your battery, preferably to the trunk/hatch. Oh, wait you just said body kit. BAD DOBBIE!!!

But hey, spend your money on bodywork if you like. I'll spend my cash on my new injectors and meet you at the track.

Well there is some truth in not painting a kit immediately after you put it on. You need to be sure that you wont scrape and if certain parts like possible FMIC's will fit. If not send it back.

The point I was trying to make is that I see people adding all kinds of excess junk to their cars to try to make it look like something else. When you have a good looking, clean car, it is a shame to mess that up. If you think that stock bumpers are ugly, why did you buy the car in the first place.

BTW....... My car is far from being a "show car". Its just clean with good paint and well thought out mods.
