PLZ HELP ASAP

I have a 1997 nissan hardbody manual 2wd it currently has the 2.4L ka24e in it. the motor is blown planning on puttung a new one in but do i have other options then the ka24e like what motors will fit and bolt up to engine mounts and to the transmission or is the ka24e the only one i can do if you can help me with this it will be great thanx

you can plant any motor you want in that car....if you have the money for it...it can be done...here is a list of good starters to look into...RB25 , RB26 , ka24de , SR20 , 4AGE , LS1 ..ect ect...and yes..some motors require modification to fit...best thing to do is plan out a power goal and try to find the best motor to reach that goal.

thanx but that doesnt really answer my question cuz i dont want to do any modifications i want to just be able to drop it in change some electrical things if needed and go

easiest, another ka-e.personally, id do a dohc swap. minor mods, mostly just wiring. almost identical as a 240.next would be the qr25, but i think that requires more mods, and i dont really like that motor

so if i do the dohc what all would need to be changed

youll have to get comfirmation from someone else, as ive never personally did this swap. but from what ive seen, its the same as doin it to a 240, but you want the motor outa another truck(frontier)
