yes you would need to use a SAFC to tune it. however since you can data log, it will make your tune alot more accurate.
now for the sentra fan conversion, i just bolted the thing up. it fits pretty good. the wiring is not the best though, i basically wired a standard relay to the power wire for the stock a/c fan. this way the fans will turn on automatically when it hits like 203 degrees. which to most people is too hot, but its been running fine for me for 2 years now, and i can sit in traffic for 2 hours with the a/c on and it won't over heat. however i can't confirm if it could maintain 200 degree's though becasue i don't have a techtom mdm that can look at my real coolant temp.
there are plenty of other write ups on electric fan conversions if you search. the way they did it is alot better because it would come on at 180 degrees or run whenever the key is turned on. where i live i can't do that becaseu if its on constantly, i can't even maintain operating temp in the winter cause it gets down to like 2 degrees here.
