installed but has yet to hook it up and i notice that when you unplug the stock o2 theres only one plug, and on the plx it only has the o2 with it's own harness and then the unit it self with the power and ground wires and two other wires white and grey where do they go?

the white and grey wires are narrowband simulators. if you're running OBDI you will only have 1 wire on your O2 sensor. you can wire either the grey or white wire to that wire that your O2sensor plugs into and eliminate your stock o2 sensor.

Ok I have a question now would you just tape off the other wire? if you have a KA24E?

yep PLX is kind enough to supply two seperate narrowband emulators in case you want to hook up something else too.

on the OBD 1 cars the o2 sensor isn't heated so you dont have to worry about that resistor

iWOAAAA!!!! installed my PLX. I connection the gray wire to the origional O2 sensor wire comming from the wiring harness. and went for a test drive...now me A/F is like low 11 or 12. before when i connected the PLX by itself just with power wires connected i was constantly in the 15's...i thought 15 was a better number.....School me someone......eric

you are running a bit richer than before. 14.7 is stoich so 15 is about right for idle stock.

have you reset your ECU since you rewired your O2 sensor? it's going to be getting a slightly different value since it's not using the old o2 sensor so you want your ECU to recalibrate itself w/ this new input value.

well i wired my plx back the way it was with only power lines connected and drove down the street...my idle was real loopy...so i went back home reset my computer and bamm...back inbetween 14.7 and 15ish....i'm not connecting any of those wires(grey and white) anymore...i'll just leave it to where the ecu dosen't even see the O2 sensor.....unless someone else figures it out....maybe reseting will help...i'll just wait till one of ya do it.....
