Hey all

Still in the middle of ordering all my parts. . Have a couple things I'm needing, as well as couple questions.

1. Spark plugs & Spark Plug Wires - I only did NGK's on my old 240sx. I know they are off a 88 Pulsar SE. The autostore didn't have any, nor have I found any online. So what do you all use for plugs & Wires ?

2. Boost Controller - What do you all use ? I'm looking at doing Apexi Boost Controller & SAFC II, good enough stuff ? $700 for those is expensive but I don't see any way around it.

3. Where did you all get your IC piping ? Hank told me Summit racing, but didn't know of any other good place.

4. Looking @ the SS Autochrome Intercooler, Turbo Manifold & Turbo dump. I'm aware the dump won't work because it's divorced I'm told it won't clear the steering column. I read on a Aussie forum they all like them, anyone here use it ? Will they give me a single dump pipe that'll clear my column ?

5. Looking for exhaust. . .like this one . Feedback ? Like that it's a full downpipe back exhaust. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33630

6. Anyone have a new or slightly used KA radiator ?

7. Anyone have a good shape T25 ?

8. FANS - I was gonna get a 3.8L ford taurua 2 speed fan, supposed to move TONS of air, any feedback ?

1. The CA doesn't have plug wires, and I'd just use the stock sized plugs. PLEASE READ THE STICKY AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM

2. As long as it's electronig, it'll be fine

3. Mine came with my FMIC kit. PLEASE USE THE SEARCH BUTTON IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER

4. Try emailing them. And PLEASE USE THE SEARCH BUTTON IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER

5. That exast will work on the CA just fine

6. Please check the Buy/Sell/Trade forum

1. Good job Ryan.

2. I am going to use an HKS adjustible wastegate for a while, but since it can only be set at 11psi at the lowest, you need a ROM tune to be able to use it. FYI: S-AFC is not a boost controller, it manipulates the MAF signal to the ECU in order to trick the ECU into changing fuel injector duty cycles via RPM based incriments.

3. I am getting mine made at Gotham Racing in Dallas. Should run about $300 for aluminum piping and couplings.

4. Hmmm. I owned one of their manifolds and it looked decent enough. BUT I would not trust a no name FMIC. Also, apparently their down pipe (O2 housing) is not 3" and is not made very well. FYI. Caveat emptor I guess...

5. Once again, that will work, but I am a fan of buying things that I know were developed with the higest quality standards. Hence why I am an HKS whore. I run Project Silvia O2 housing, downpipe, and test pipe...All 3", all with INCREDIBLE welds and quality. BUT cost well over $300. My cat back is HKS Hi Power. $650 shipped, but WELL worth it in sound suppression and quality.

6. Junk yard baby. J/K. Lemmie ask my buddy still has his extra KA radiator. He may sell it to you.

7. eBay

8. IMHO nothing beats the stock clutch fan. A LOT of folks ditch em for no reason. Unless you move your rad and FMIC back towards the motor and you have no room, keep the clutch fan. Save yourself some money and using j-yard fans is ghetto

Thats weird about the plug wirs. . what about plugs ?I've spent hours seaching, there isn't a plethera of information on CA's like you make it sound, but thanks

I'll keep poking around, you put me a step in the right direction at least, thanks

Why is that weird? It uses a coil-on-plug setup. A lot of cars use it. Much better seeing as you don't lose any ignition power through the wires.

Not bad weird. . just owned 5 cars (Celica's, 240sx, Crx) And never seen that. . just different weird.
