Ok, I finally got closer to the heart of my midrange stumble issue. Some days it would almost run ok with minimal hesitation(during the transition into boost). AFAIK, the car has stock ca injectors and maf (but who knows...the previous owner did some other odd things). Long story short, I adjusted my fuel pressure...to a point where the engine revs freely with no hesitation. The odd part - That "adjustment" was 60psi static fuel pressure. At anything less than about 50-55psi static the stumble comes back. and needless to say, it runs like complete trash at the 36psi factory pressure (aparently the majority of my problem all along). Anyone else ever encounter anything like this? Thoughts on the matter?

Is your ECU tuned an you arent aware? You could always take out your injectors and have them hydrosonically cleaned and flow balanced....then you'll at least know what you are running. Also....try and get a part number off your MAF so we can research what you have.

First - the ecu is running a basic tune right now(stock injectors/maf, limiters removed, remapped fuel/timing), however - it did this exact same thing before when it had the stock rom still installed(which I know was stock, because I installed the tuned rom chip). That being set aside, The maf currently on the car has the numbers: 22680-58a10, afh45-40, and ox22.

Thanks for the input... but timing is fine, has been ever since I first had the problem months ago. I guess ill just leave it as is... its driveable, so it will make it untill I get the new swap in this summer.
