Do you know it's the valve, or the more common location of the port in the plenum that the EGR valve feeds?

Either way, you should be able to clear the blockage with a combination of brake parts cleaner or throttle body cleaner, dental picks, gun cleaning brushes, etc...

Gook luck and happy scraping!

What Heath is reffering to is something that is usually done when the plenum is pulled. And it's probably time for it on your car so you can replace all the hoses underneath, the knock sensors and their harness and have the injectors bench flushed by Deatschwerks to get everything back to as new. Plugs and valve cover seals are best done at thei time also.

Look at Ceniglmo's post in Infiniti Online Mechanic to see the intricacy involved.
