i recently changed my plugs from platinums to iridiums, and noticed on the platinums that it looks like there is alittle hotspot. Figured in a month or so I might take the iridiums back out and regap them/make sure their burning good.

I wanted to kno if any of you guys indexed your plugs when you put them in? Did you notice any difference, or do you think you'll get any power increase?

I personally don't index them as they come already gabbed.

gap and index are different things. Gap is the space between the center and side electrodes, index is the direction the side electrode is oriented at when installed. Mark the ceramic with a sharpie to indicate the position and use different plugs and/or thin washers to get them clocked the way you want.

Thanks for clearing it out TMS, I thought both meant the same, I don't have to worry about my index, I am using the bosch +4 plugs.

There is always some thing new to learn.

Always had NGK's in mine and I've never had a problem.
