If you use the 5/16 one you should be able to use your stock strut tower brace. If you go up to the 1/2 you'll have to get spacers for your strut tower brace. I have heard nothing but good about them, but I don't think it will make 11-13 hp like they claim.

The Skunk 2 Racing plenum spacer has been around for a while - one of the first. So, you'll find some earlier 350Z that have them. Unless they've changed the installation, it used to be pretty messy. I guess the included gasket sucked, requiring the installer to silicone the crap out of it. You can find pics on the net and it looks like s***.

But, considering that ALL spacers, regardless of who makes it, have to be certain dimensions to even fit, their performance is going to be close to equal. I've read, the only difference is the material they are made of and it's ability to reduce heat transfer so the intake air remains cooler.

I've read nothing but good things about the motordyne spacers and some Z owners claim gaining 14whp after having the spacer installed. Skunk 2 claims 10+whp gain.

Any dyno charts with these claims?
