I received an email, and like to keep all info posted on the board so it can benefit everyone.

Hello,About the Skunk2 spacer, did you have to remove the old spacer gasket or did put the spacer over it? Also did you have to adjust your hood, to allow it to shut? Thanks for your instructions, they answered many of my questions.

I put the Skunk 2 spacer on top of the stock gasket. I did not have to adjust my hood. My recommendation however is to look into the 5/16ths spacer. You will get the same gains from the 5/16ths, as you will the 1/2” and it will allow for the addition of a Front Strut Tower Bar, where as the 1/2” spacer will not give the needed clearance for the FSTB. You can put the bar on, but the engine will lift under torque, and will bang the hell out of the bar. The last thing you want is for the engine to shear off the bolts that hold your struts on. It could end catastrophically.

Geeeeez Beano nice to see you here.

How is your Suby? What psi you are at now?

If I remember correctly there was something about the different size for for the pre revup engine and the revup engine. Wasn't it? I could be wrong.
