Will the 1/2 inch spacer allow the Infiniti engine cover to fit? Does anybody have the 1/2 one or know for sure? It would seem that a larger spacer would allow more air in the manifold, making a little more power. I'm ready to buy one now...

Joe - Go with the 5/16".

The 1/2 will NOT allow for fitment of the engine cover, and Motordyne claims only 1 or 2 additional hp from the 1/2" as opposed to the 5/16".

I have the 5/16", which adds 12-14 hp, and I LOVE it. Great mod.

I think Intense (sponsor) has a pretty decent deal on them too.

Cool, thanks Hitman! Now what about this "thermal" version?

The ISO thermal version was created for the MREV engine which is for 2005+ G35's. So get that one then the standard one.

Do you have to worry about too lean an air fuel ratio?

Welcome aboard, mrhager!

No - The minor difference is compensated for by the ECU within minutes.

It really causes an improvement based upon a cooler intake charge and larger, more efficient plenum interior volume (volumetric efficiency).
