Hey, I installed a kinetix plenum and a throttle body by pass. The car runs fine so no vacum leaks etc, but is has a hollow whurring sound coming from the plenum, ideas?

Car fells a bit more peppy, I also put on a set of kinetix high flow cats, which had a selling feature of not throwing a CEL and the CEL is on?

Have you tried resetting the ecu?

I mean, disconnecting the battery for 1 min and reconnecting it. This resets your ecu and let's it re-learn your new hardware.

If you've tried to pull the codes with a diagnostic tool, what did it say?

I hated how my kinetix plenum sound, i removed it just because of that. I also had that hollow noise that takes away from the vq's growel, i think it is just the material of the plenum.

It said "left bank right bank 02 sensor failure" I may have to buy that CEL fix kit off ebay, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to.

The car does feel a bit more responsive with the plenum and high flow cats, but the sound is not great, you're right!

Make sure that your 02 sensors are properly installed and connected. I would try to disconnect the battery for a minute and see if cel comes back on.

The plenum must work to a certain degree, when I would touch the top of the OEM plenum it was always very hot after the motor had reached top temperature and the kinetix plenum feels barely hot?

Cooler temps, more hp!
