pleaseee help me.. no spark!

Soo i have an rb20, and i had a problem with #1 not firing. . i think somthing was wrong in the wiring cuz i jumped a wire from the ignitor chip strait to the coil pack.(janky). it ended up working and drove the car home. . . i ended up pulling the entire wiring harness out one day to solder a few conections together that were twisted, and extended a few ground wires. and got rid of the janky wire i ran to the coilpack. . well, i put the harness back in and now i dont have spark AT ALL. i know for a fact that my ECU coilpacks and ignitorchip is all GOOD. im very frustrated and been trying to figure it out all day. . the only thing i did as far as changing anything on the coilpack harness is extending n soldering the ground wire. and fixing the 1 wire i had a problem with going to my #1 coil pack from the ignitor.. . does anyone have any idea why i all of the sudden have no spark. i know its gotta be somthing stupid... thanx

I know other people will chime in with something maybe a little more helpful but dont be scared to check out the wiring diagram on the engine, its in the FSM. I wired up a my whole NEO rb with that little chart. sure was dam helpful. I recommend instead of playing the guessing game, get the diagram and just check to make sure the wire is getting power/grounds where its supposed to. I believe off hand the computer send 12v to the coilpack, and the cas has something to do with when the injectors fire, I cant remember exactly. Ill take a look at a diagram tmr, its 2 am. if you can dbl check that there is at least nothing dangling or unhooked thats a good place to start.

well the only thing i can think of, or the only thing i did different really was extend a few grounds.. if you do that will it weaken the ground signal??? or is a ground simply a ground?? . .

i would check the relay by the ecu, it send the power to the cas n fuel pump.. check to see if u have power on the cas also..just some suggestions

well does anyone know where i can find a diagram for the igniton wiring. i dont know what else to do. relays are fine to by the way. .

the ignition wiring is all contained in the schematic for the rb20 engine wiring diagram.

okay.. where can i go to find and print or whatever, the rb schematic diagram, that makes sense. . im not a total nood in the nissan car world, but i hate hate hate wiring. its like trying to find a needle in a haystack for me. i am willing to REDO all the wiring nessasary to make this damn car run. can some one point me in to the EASIEST direction possible to go about this . please. im stressin hard over this

hey guys, i figured out the problem! lol last night i yanked out the whole harness cuz i was so fed up with the car not starting and i stripped all the tape on it. ended up finding two broken wires close to the relays by the ecu. . fixed them put in the harness and the car fired up. . HOWEVER, i have ran in to another problem lol. the motor runs on all 6 cylanders now, and idles great. but if i try to give it any load. (20% throttle) the car will sputter, and i get an occasional backfire. it feels like im trying to pull a freight train behind me going down the road. . . the way my car sits right now; i have no pcv system cuz my plenum wont allow me to. im going to fix that today, cuz i hear rbs run like doo doo without it. . anyone have any pointers? thanx again..
