Hi folks,

As the title reads, please vote to get my brother's S15 to SEMA! He's competing in Performance Auto & Sound Magazine's "Tuner Battlegrounds" where the top four cars will be on display at the magazine's SEMA booth this year. The competition works in stages with each stage being half the number of cars as the previous stage. You can vote every 24 hours by signing in with your Facebook credentials at my brother's Competitor Profile page. He had a booth spot lined up but the company pulled out of the show and the deal fell through (a tire company which shall remain unnamed). This competition is looking like the only hope for us to get the car to SEMA this year.

So far the car has made it to Stage 1 - the top 64. Voting for Stage 2, the top 32 cars, is currently open until August 18 @ 3:00 p.m. EST. Below is a breakdown of the stages and the voting schedule for each. Our goal is to make it to Stage 5 at least so that the car can be on display at SEMA. Once at SEMA, voting for the top two cars will be via text messages and the top two cars will be featured in the magazine. SanoSuKe submitted his coupe to the competition as well but it looks like he didn't make it into stage 1 unfortunately.

Stage Voting Schedule (all times EST):
  • Stage 2 - Top 32: Voting closes August 18, 2013 @ 3:00PM
  • Stage 3 - Top 16: August 19 @ 10:00AM - August 26 @ 3:00PM
  • Stage 4 - Top 8: August 27 @ 10:00AM - September 2 @ 3:00PM
  • Stage 5 - Top 4: September 3 @ 10:00AM - September 9 @ 3:00PM (Winners TBA @ SEMA)
  • Stage 6 - Top 2: TBA @ SEMA

More pics can be seen here: Votes can be cast every 24 hours by signing in with your Facebook credentials at this webpage (click on the "Login With Facebook" button): Tuner Battlegrounds Battle for SEMA: Alexander Bauza. Once you've logged in with your Facebook credentials, click on the "star" on the Competitor Profile page right under where it says "Tuner Battlegrounds Battle for SEMA" to cast your vote.

Please vote as often as you can and spread the word! Having the car finally be at the SEMA show would be a dream come true for my brother (and I) and would be a huge payoff for the countless hours we've spent working on the car.

Thanks for looking. Please vote every day!

Sunday, August 18 is the cutoff for votes to get the car into the Top 32 on it's way to the SEMA Show. We're losing pretty badly right now so every vote counts! Go to the car's profile page, sign in with your Facebook credentials, and click on the star to cast your vote!

:frown: Didn't make it to the top 32, so that's the end of the road for SEMA this year unless some miracle happens. We'll have to try again next year; hopefully things will go our way. Thanks for any and all votes cast on behalf of NiCO!
