Hello fellow Nico members, Let me introduce myself. I am Tony Fonti, but you can call me Engmus, im brother of Cyberkreig under the 240 section. I use to drive a 90 Stanza but totatled that in a accident, and since TeamNSE doesnt exist anymore I went to the best option for any nissan owner, Nico.

I recently purchased a 03 Nissan Sentra SE-R V-Spec 6 spd manual. After reading the forums, I found myself in need to get the recal performed to my car which I will be setting up tomarrow.

I have a few questions though, as im sure were asked so I aplogize if any of these following questions are repedative (on a side note I belong to the club4ag boards so I know repedative questions Initial D **** anyone?).

I've been comprising a modification list that I plan to carry out as soon as my car falls out of warrenty, im looking for a good exhaust currently, the only exhausts i've seen that have been reputable was a Greddy SP and it seemed to fart canish for my taste. Apexi doesnt seem to produce any that go well with the car or make any for the car at all.

So what company offers a good exhaust that will raise my hp without droping my torque much and gives a good low growl sound?

Also how hard is it to turbo the QR2.5DE? Is it a fesable idea?

Either way, I aplogize for the inconvience I may have caused and any problems this post might create.

Engmus.

Ahh a fellow TeamNSE member. What was your screen name on there?

As for exhausts for the Spec V. BRM, Greddy, VRS, Stromung, Apexi, 5Zigen, and Tanabe all make exhaust systems for the Spec V and they are all very reputable.

As far as turboing the QR there are a handful running around now. The only reputable kits I would go with are either from Forced Induction Racing or Powertech Imports. Both will yield you around 275whp or so. Travis at FIR can also build you something else if you want a little more power but you will have to start building up the internals which will cost you quite a bit more coin.

I am personally going to be putting on one of the PTI kits before the end of the year and mabey rework my valvetrain and throw in some pistons.

Hey Tony! Welcome to Nico.

You will love the Spec V. I traded mine in on my 350z (or I would still have it)

Did you get your exhaust or just decide on what you wanted?

Welcome. Good luck with the SE-R. I would have bought one if I didn't by my maxima. A turbo is possible just some custom fabrication my be required.

They make a turbo manifold, you just need to weld the flange and make a downpipe. http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/index2.html

Engmus - We (BRM) make a spectacular system for the Spec. You may have read the review in Sport Compact Car, seen it on SpeedVision's "Driving Force", or seen it on Dave Coleman's pro rally car.

Feel free to get in touch at [email protected] for more info and pictures.

p.s. Welcome to NICO! We're glad to have you aboard!

7-9 hp, 7-9 tq, as low as $445 shipped, all bolt-on, uses factory hangars.

"Oil lines included"??? Not for an exhaust....

The Nisom S tune parts are great but kinda on the pricy side.

Kinda?!?! That's an under statement. LOL. NISMO cost way to much. Not the way I would go, unless I hit pay dirt in the lotto.

And Engmus, You didn't look stupid, just confused. There are a lot of buisness out there, and we cant all know who they are and what they make. Be sure to check out our sponsors. Not saying that to sway your decision, but they tend to give us pretty good deals, and can probally get which ever exhaust system you choose.

And welcome to NICO. Lot of great guys here, with a lot of good info.

Hey Hitman, If I get that 94 SE-R, I will have to get up with you about some pipes for it. Nothing to high pitched, I hate that. That is after I get some stuff paid off. Credit card is getting on my nerves. Thank goodness I only owe $1200.

Trust me, the BRM system is far from high-pitched.

Angry grizzly bear on steroids, maybe, but high pitched? Nah.
