Please tell me some1 knows where I can get aftermarket fog lights for my 2008 Nissan Altima sedan.

I'm going to install 2 HID Kits and need fog lights for my car but my tech guy tells me that the only fog lights I can use are from the Nissan dealers, which are $120 each ($240 Total).

Has anyone installed other fog lights...??? Please let me know.

The tech guy told me after markets wont work because there is no backing to support the light, but he told me to search for some anyways.

Can some1 please help me on this one; I would deeply appreciate it...

There was a deal going around and a few people are running the Hella 1002 1102's. you needed tom make your own support brackets and wiring. The stock housings are still the best IMO. They bolt right in and are made for a H11 bulb.

There are surely some better deals on the stock lights than what your dealer offered. And with either stock or aftermarket, you need to get the turn signal/lamp switch that includes the foglight switch. Look around on the various Nissan forums, and you will find a LOT of discussion about foglights for the 4th gen cars.

After markets can be used. It take a bit of work and some electrical wiring knowledge. I fabricated mounts for mine out of polycarbonate plastic. They held up very well over the winter. I do not have mine wired in to the headlight switch but to a separate rocker switch. They do not go on with the other lights but are independent. My wife's car has the integrated type and I don't like them.Wiring is fairly easy and since they don't use the headlight stalk you don't need a wiring harness harness.
