I got my head back on after replacing the cams and resurfacing. now ive got the gaskets on the exhaust and intake bolted , egr and o2 also. but ive got a lost vacuum hose it jets straight out towards the firewall on the back of the fuel injector rail. I cant find where it goes. need some suggestions. 1995 240 sxse ka240de

i got a problem. i replaced my cams and put all my stuff back on o2 and egr and gaskets and exhaust and intake but theres a vacuum opening on the fuel injector rail that i cant figure out where it goes to....... it shoots straight off the rail at the firewall. any suggestions

Let me take a look at the FSM for you. I know exactly which one you mean, but I can't remember where it goes.

It looks like the vac lines runs at the back of the manifold and behind the egr, then it turns down and connects to the plenum somewhere. I can't seem to find a good diagram in the FSM, and it is slightly different than on my car, but I am sure someone with a 95 will chime in and let you know exactly where it goes. I sent an email with a decent pic that I got out of the FSM

no idea what the plenum is bro but thanks ill check my book and see if i can figure it out with that.

The plenum is just the chamber that the throttle body opens too. The individual intake runners start at the plenum and end at the head. It looks to be somewhere near the back of the intake manifold near the firewall. Someone with an S14 will be able to answer this super easily.

The small rubber hose is for your fuel pressure regulator hose, one end goes on the upper fuel rail and the other goes on the lower intake there is a gold fitting it should go on right across from the passenger shock tower
