Please someone help me.

I have a 1994 Nissan Altima that is pissing me off right now. 2 wks ago my car just died on me. I would turn it over and it would start but would take a while. However, it wouldn't go past 10mph. We have since changed spark plugs, fuel and oil filter and distributor. The spark plug wires kept coming loose so my husband changed the distributor cap. The day he did that, the car ran fine. It did not jolt like it wanted to shut off. It ran smooth all day long. This was on Tuesday. Yesterday, I got in the car to leave and it wouldn't start. When it did finally start, it would shut off. I would start it again and I finally got to where I could leave the yard and it shut off on me again. I'm lost. My husband thinks coil and my father in law says computer. I called Nissan and was told that it was not the puter but that it might need to be reset. I was also told to change spark plug wires. I just did that last year. It keeps skipping like it want's to shut off.

I posted this on myspace and someone suggested I try here.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be? If you know anyone that has a Nissan that would be great. Please, Please, Please someone help me out. I miss my car. I am using my mother n laws car right now.

You might have a flaky fuel pump. Do a fuel pressure test. You need to see what your losing here, Fuel or spark.
