Ok i got new brembo rotors and the only way i could get the z brakes on was to take the shims off the back of the brake pads well when i did that the calipers fit right over the rotors. But then when i got everything mounted on i noticed that the bolt that attaches the caliper to the car was hitting the rotor not only that but the rotor was also hitting the side of the caliper how can i fix this? Is the rotor the wrong size i have the 30mm 91 z calipers and i got the rotors from nopi I really need some help on this.

what does the rotor have written on it..should max # ( mm resurface)Are you sure that you have 30mm calipers, if you had 26mm caliper+30mm rotors then that would have the bolts hitting the rotor.

that looks way too close. The rotor shouldnt touch the body of the caliper. That looks like 30mm rotors in a 26mm caliper...

you MUST use 240sx caliper bolts to bolt on the Z calipers, the z bolts are different and will touch the rotor when bolted on the 240sx knuckle

You should have noticed something when you measured the rotor.

1 3/8 in. is about 35mm. None of the z32 rotors were that thick.
