hey everybody...i have a 91 240sx with a custom turbo kit(duh)..but it seems to be running too rich...way too rich...i could see traces of fuel or a collection of it left on the muffler tip.....on the a/f ratio gauge, its reading at the highest stoic point before going into rich at idle(1000rpm)..and when i barely tap the gas..it jumps to max rich...im thinking that i need an apex safc2 for fuel tuning but i want to make sure that that will cure my problem...for sure... so far here is what i have got on my set up:

garret t-25 turbocharger(really small...3 psi spring...maxes out at 5 psi)with an internal wastegatess autochrome exhaust manifold..t25-t28 flangewalbro hi pressure fuel pump..255lphused s13 sr20det injectors ..370cctoyota supra 7mgte intercoolermitsubishi eclipse 1st gen blow off valvemegan racing 3" down pipecustom 3" mid-pipemagna flow muffler(previous owner had bought this.and im broke so i left it)cheap ractive boost gauge vac-boost -30 to 30 psiautometer air/fuel ratio gauge... i think thats it...if i've forgotten something...ill be sure to let you know

...any suggestions from kat owners would be great....and since it was rich..i also switched back and forth on the injectors...370cc to stock 270cc's and still no difference.....and by the way...its on a blow-through set up...thanks guys

well running the 370s without any kind fuel controller will make you run real rich. so youll either need a retune or a piggyback to run those. dont bother looking at that a/f gauge either. if you want to tune yourself invest in a wideband. theres quite a few out now for under 500.

plx m-300 wideband i got for $320 from streetrays.com works great

also yes you will need some kind of fuel controller for the injectors. whats a little different is that you siad you switched between the 270's and 370's. check all of your o-rings. i was having hte exact same problem when i installed my 740's a while back. put on new o-rings and whne you tighten the screws, only tighten them enough with jsut your fingertips on the screwdriver. they only call for 1-2ftlbs
