Guys/Gals... a good friend of mine and owner of a BIG Nissan shop (JGY Customs) in VA was robbed last weekend. He is a big seller of RWD and FWD SR20DET stuff. This happened Friday night/Saturday morning in Atkins, VA. If you know where JGY's shop is, and saw anything, please report it to me. Also, please be on the lookout for SR20DET parts... Here's the list of what was taken.. it's sickening..

Oh that's terrible to hear :( I hope insurance helps them out a lot, I've dealt with Shaun before and had nothing but the best of experiences with them.

HOLY SMOKES! thats is hardcore thiefin'! i cant believe nobody saw anything. i mean, thats not one of those pull a pickup up to the shop, break in, take some stuff and go...thats bring a BIG truck, park it, break in, and stay for a while. i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt order food while they were there taking what looks like everything but the bathroom sink. we need to spread this to the other forums, make sure SOMETHING is done. that sucks some hardcore balls.

they mustve been professional thieves, not like amateur ricer thieves who stole my radio head unit :( they prob been scoping out the place for like 6 mos bc MAN thats a BIG heist. ive never seen a heist that big happening to a aftermarket shop. They stole motors, fmic, boost conts etc...... thats A LOT of stuff. lotta ppl musta in on it , (including employees). Im wondering if the police found any clues like fingerprints or something. Hey cybercreig if the police has released a description of a suspect it might help if you could post it.

i'm SURE it musta been a messy job, i mean seriously, how the hell do you steal an ENGINE!?

that means they had many guys and alot of time...which means there HAD to be lots of error (knocking things down, touching things w/ bare hands or something of the sort)

man even a 10 man team working for several HOURS wouldn't be able to move all that stuff..... i mean they got friggin ENGINES. it takes a good bit of time to even move an engine around on a stand, let alone lift it into a truck by hand.

and from another thread i read on this they cut a hole in the wall of the shop to get in??? that's some james bond ****!

I can't see it being an "inside job," the guys that work there are just too into what they do and stand-up about it to do something like that, I think... Either way :( .

Inside job for sure.

Agreed... there is NO way this was anything but an inside job. Obvioulsy they knew there was no silent alarm. And, if the owner was too cheap to get a security alarm for his shop... then what can he expect?

I mean... WITH an alarm... at the very worst they pull a smash and grab. That means you lose a few little things that theives can pick up and throw in a truck VERY quickly before the cops get there. WITHOUT an alarm... you're screwed.

Sounds shady to me... something isn't right.

I don't know shaun or whoever, but to not have an alarm that is just stupid. Maybe I'm taking the wrong angle. Could be possible insurance fraud, just a thought. I don't know the owner or the shop, so my comment is all on speculation. Anyone who is a friend or customer of shaun don't take any of this personal, but there is some shady business people out there.

It can't be one truck in on this. Thats a humongous job to steal all of those parts/engines. Im going to say more than 15 people to get all of that, with lots of time, and more than 3 trucks. Whoever posted that there were allot of messups and errors if definitely right. They are probably out of the state right now.

dude that is horrible, that's a really long list!! You should be looking at an inside job, it had to be, no way they could have gotten that without some help from someone who got a good look around. I hope they questioned all the employee's and if they saw anybody in there more then once without any real purchases. And they're right about more then one truck unless it was a huge tractor trailer which people had to of seen. I will also due what i can on the net (i.e. EBAY) and keeping an eye out. That's just so messed up. What's the location look like? Are they in a big town or near a neighborhood? There is no way you could pull a job like that without someone noticing. To the owner i hope the best of luck.

Dont get me started --this is the exact thing that got me banned on FA. This was not an inside job. As someone already mentioned--they are too stand up and into what they do to be underhanded like some on the FA thread insinuated. True, it was a bif mistake to not have an alarm on the property, but these guys' shop is in the middle of the country--its not like in the mainstream area of where you think a break-in would occur. By the way--if it was someone that knew about the alarm situation--then it wasnt an inside job--it was a past customer--thats my assumption. They cut a friggin whole in the wall for gods sake--whatever they had done to plan this--that was sloppy--its pure luck someone didnt hear them. They got away with alot of shyte--and I hope they get their asses nailed to the wall for it. Im on the lookout for sure. They actually stole something that was mine. A ka top feed rail and fuel pump and ohm resistors were mine--they were supposed to go out to me that morning----bastards got to it first.

Im still steamed.

its not for me to judge who the criminals are. All i know is that i have spoken with shaun, he helped expalin some turbo stuff to me when i was new.. He didnt need to take his time to do that, or to post on this forum to help people (pampadori i think), but he did.

I am definatly going to watch ebay and BST forums for these kind of parts.. thats all any of us can do really.

So the shop is located in a rural area? I suppose that explains why no one saw it happening. But still a big truck had to be used, or several trucks. That's some sick stuff.

they had a utility trailor loaded up with all those parts either in the shop or right outside. all it took was a truck or two and 4-6 people and about a hour of hustling around and bam nothing but undrivable cars left .

although as a former theif i must say the list made and of the taken and the specific stupid details they comment on leads me to suspect it was a friend or employee of the shop. but at the same time i still kinda doubt it was insurance fraud , thats not easily done with the buisness itself , would have been easier to scam on a car.
