Hello everyone. My name is Brad and I'm new to this site. I'm in the process of doing research for which Cusco bars and other products will fit the US model 240's. As far as I know, all the bars will fit, but I've never tried. So if anyone who actually has the product on their car, please post what Cusco product you have, what year 240, and any other details. A pic would be great also.

The purpose of this research is to verify fitment for Cusco products in the USA. I just got back from Cusco Japan for training on installation of all their products and rebuilding of their LSD's and the USA application was one of thier current concerns.

Thank you for all your help.

Brad Himes

My car: 89 240sx FastbackI have the Cusco Front OS strut bar (for silvia/180sx) and Cusco Rear AS strut bar (also for the silvia/180sx). No problems with fitting. Lines up correctly. I don't thing theres any differnece in strut tower design between the 240sx and the Silvia/180sx, since there practically the same car. I heard there might be a problem with the convertables though.

aside from the engine and a few other minor differences, 240s are exactly the same as silvias

I appreciate the replies. I've been told that the KA clutch and SR20DET clutch are different... so Cusco clutch kit's will only work if a swap has been done. I was told that the LSD will work. Can anyone verify this for me?

Again, I really appreciate the help. The sooner I get this information, the sooner we can get everything authorized for sale here in the USA.

We'll also be working with Cusco for LHD specific applications like the brake cylinder stopper.

Thanks,Brad Himes

yup...they're funny little truck things...2 or 3 speed manual transmission and the speedometer stops at 25mph :)There's only one mitsu that I've seen...they look like 1/4 scale fusos when you're standing next to 'em...most of the others are daihatsu and suzuki I think

where does everyone buy their cusco products from? rather, where have you found the best prices for the stuff?
