Hi, all.

Very nice wheels on the new 2006 M35 and M45 cars, but ... please note the following:

The 2006 M35/M45 wheels (both the 18 x 8 and the 19 x 8.5) cannot be used on other Infiniti models. These wheels have very high offsets (47mm and 50mm respectively) and simply will not fit.

You'd have to use a 15mm to 20mm spacer (depending on the car) and that is simply too dangerous - even if you could get lugs to fit.

Note that the 2003/2004 M45 18 x 7.5 wheels, with an offset of 35mm, will indeed fit many other Infiniti models. It is the 2006 wheels that are problematic.

Indeed, the reverse is also true - finding replacement wheels for the 2006 M35/M45 is going to be tough. OTOH, the OEM wheels are so nice, why would you bother changing them?

One thing I found too with the Sport rims is that you can't put a set of 275's on the rear. I was not happy. I like the wider tire in the rear for a bit more of an aggressive look, but the 8.5" wide rims will not accept them.

its even worse for the m35x owners, the widest i could fit front and rear are 245. I had a set of 245/40/20s on the in the summer took them off for the winter, i too like a wider rear (lololol) but the AWD will not except it.
