Ok Im in the middle of the install, these are my questions:Im replacing both chains, all tensioners, oil seals and chain guides.I set engine to TDC, took the valve cover off to ensure that the top chain was set correctly on the makings on the top sprockets. (As you all know this only happens in x amonunt of revolutions...) Now, I cant really see if the bottom chain marked links are on the right spot on the sprockets... If the top chain is in the right markings and orientation should the bottom chain be sitting on the right markings also???I like to know before I take the front cover off.If is not on the right markings what should I do?? Rotate bottom sprockets to right orientation and mount bottom chain and continue with install while assuming Im still at TDC???? Just dont sound right...I learn two new things so far ( I done a SOHC chain replacement before) Yes the oil pan needs to come off... and if you have an auto trans. there no way to take the pulley off without a special tool or impact tool.....

please help me get this car done before the weekend....

If you've got the links lined up, it's not a guaranteed thing they'll all be lined up. What I suggest you do is this. Leave the chains on until you're ready to actually physically remove them all at the same time. You can line up all the chains without a problem. One thing you can do though if you're scared of hitting your valves into the pistons if you rotate them around is to loosen the cams. If the cams are loose then when you rotate the bottom end, they won't crash into each other as the valves will close, this assuming you've already pulled the upper chain and tensioners off.
