Ok, here is my problem....... car runs fine when its just idling! ok, cool......however when I go to step on the gas hard she bog's out really bad. It feels like it doesnt have any power. What I can tell you, is that I do not have the boost sensor (maybe thats wuts causing it idk...) but im also not sure if I have the vacuum lines hooked up correct!? The vacuum line that has that 'pen' in it (just temp/trying to figure it out) is just a cap to stop the vacuum.............The little hose from the waste gate to the intake piping I just put on last night and she ran a little better but not anywhere near where a stock rb should. I have up loaded some pictures so you guys can check it out and lemme know wuts goin on.

p.s. my f**king sr was faster than my RB25......****!!!

since you are running your boost source for the wastegate to the charge pipe, did you cap off the nipple on the turbo compressor ?

could you show me a pic of wha tur talking about mine is doing the same thing.

see the nipple on the turbo compressor ? block it off tight and no leak if you are using another boost source for the wastegate.

The little nipple your talking about, is that the one under the "r" where it says nissan motor on ur turbo? Is it normally just a hole? does it have threads? just making sure im looking at the correct nipple because mine is open! I do not have anything blocking it off!

umm for one that pen is hallow... and won't hold vacuum or boost. you might have a boost leak, maf problem, or both.

hmmm was that only on certin models cause i have done 4 rb25det swaps and not one has that on the compressor??

yea my 25 turbo sure as **** didnt have that.

and for gods sake, a pen? at least put a bolt in it dude. you can suck air through a pen.

no actually i'm talking about the vac hose nipple that connects to the wastegate. anyhow that picture is actually a rb20det turbo, the rb25det turob didnt have it. the port where the "r" is for oil line. nevermind the picture, posted a wrong pic.
