I am an American expat living in Russia. The Infiniti of Russia started selling the JX in the summer of 2013. We bought a JX in January of 2014 (2013 model), and as an American some of the features that all American cars have, are missing. First of all, I cannot get the doors to automatically lock when the car is at speed. Second, the mirrors don't close when I turn off the motor or lock the car. The car itself has a US outlet, and the dealer told us that the car is built in Louisiana.

I am guessing that the problem is the system, not the car itself, is there anyway of installing an American system without harming the eastern European navigation.

Could be the BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE).
