Please help with my 1996 I30 throttle problem....

Hi,Ijust got done replacing my starter,fired it up couple times everything seemed fine.I did not test drive it .So then the next day my wifey tried to drive it to work and it kept dieing on her.I drove it and if you take it slow and let it change gears it does not die but it bogs down alot.And if your driving it and gu the gas it quits on me.I opened the hood and gave it some gas from the throttle cable and sounds like **** and bogs down alot.Any suggestions would be great.The car was running fine before the starter went.I put the new starter in then this happened...Thanks for any suggestions...Tim : 1996 infiniti I30
