I'm instaling wideband A/F meter (Techege) and I'm confused about how to feed 0-1v signal to Nissan ECU. Will it be sufficient just to connect to signal wire (pin 29 on ECU)? Or pin 115(power to lambda) should also be used somehow?

How does ECU understand there's no lambda sensor? Only from signal wire?Thanx in advancehttp://www.datnet.org/new/techinfo/page2.html

Hmmm...i haven't really payed that much attention to the oxygen sensor, but according to pin 115 it is a heated oxygen sensor which means it should have 4 wires going to it. Pin 29 recieves the O2 sensor signal, which should be between .2-.9V. I imagine the other wires are just power and ground.

That is really all the input i can give at the moment because im really not sure exactly what you are trying to do. If you could give me a little more info, i may be able to add some more.

Well... I want to install wideband A/F meter and keep closed-loop mode. So I have to connect new O2 sensor to ECU somehow.BTW, CA18DET has 3-wire sensor

3 wires and its heated.....that is wierd. Anyway....it seems like you should just need to put the output from the o2 sensor on pin29 and just get your voltage to the heater wire from pin 115.

"and just get your voltage to the heater wire from pin 115."Didn't get your idea...

I was just assuming that you would run the heater wire as it normally would be, going to pin 115.

But without O2 sensor circuit is not completed anymore... So I can run this wire wherever I want, closed-loop mode would not work...

Hmm, i assumed that you got a new bosch o2 sensor with the wideband but i guess i am mistaken? I was hoping someone else would chime in as i am just throwing random ideas in there and i don't really have any definative answers.

Hey dee, have you used that SDS a/f meter because a wideband wouldnt be nessecary if the SDS one can tell anywhere from 17-12 because that is all you would ever need right?
