the motor in my 95 blew so i replaced it with the s13 motor from my brothers totalled car. the motor is in my car and connected. i have no idea how to put the s14 distributor on the correct timing.it looks like it is about to fire the 4th cylinder , but that doesnt really help. thanks a lot

I am not sure what your saying here. How much of the enigne did you swap? long block would be ok but complete with manifolds might be a problem as several of the emission control equipment is different since the 95 is set up with OBDII components.

place the engine on TDC or put a rod in the #1 cylinder and turn until the rod doesnt go any higher. Then look on your distributer cap for the #1 spark plug wire. turn the rotor button to that point out of the engine then install it in the engine you will have to play with it due to the distributor gear but when the distributor should line up with the #1 cylinder. This should get you in the right area. after that you should go to a shop and have the timing checked to make sure its in the right position. Sometimes your lucky on the first try sometimes it takes a few trys to get it lined up.
