Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I want to make sure I don't screw anything up. Where do these vacuum lines connect and what are they for? i didn't pull my SR from a clip, and these were just the way theyare so I don't know where to connect them. #1

The short wide pipe and smaller bent tube. I'm not 100% sure that to do with this. The kit came with a 90 degree bent rubber hose that looks like it goes there, but there is no room for it with the wiring clips right underneath it.

And finally, what's this go to? in case you can't tell it's on the hot side of the intercooler on the piping and has a long hose attached to it. Is it optional?

I assume that is a Blitz LM kit?

on hotpipe by the intercooler, that line goes to your wastegate.on coldpipe, the small bent tube is for ICV (idle control valve)on coldpipe, the short tube is for stock recirc valve. You need to cap that off if you are using ATM BOV.

As for vaccum, I can't say for sure, I don't know on S14 SR.

MAKES SENSE, BUT MY BOOST CONTROLLER SAYS TO CONNECT THE WASTEGATE TO THE B/C SOLENOID. SO NOW DO I RUN THAT HOSE TO THE SOLENOID TOO?

Quote » on coldpipe, the small bent tube is for ICV (idle control valve)[/quote]I STILL HAVE THIS FUNKY LITTLE RECTANGULAR BLACK PLASTIC BOX (ABOUT 2"X1") WITH A HOSE COMING DOWN FROM THE BOTTOM AND AOTHER FROM BEHIND THAT CAME WITH OTHER MISC. RANDOM STUFF FOR THE ENGINE. IS THIS THE IDLE CONTROL VALVE? I'LL TRY TO POST A PIC TOMORROW.

Ok...your first picture I belive is the vacuum line for your brake booster. The other end is visible in the picture agains the firewall2)..One goes to the the fuel pressure regulator and other goes to the charcoal canister. On my car there is a third nipple which is plugged. (not sure what the bigger nipple is for..looks like a heater hose pipe)pic 3)the short thick pipe off the cold LM intercooler pipe is for your blow off valve (you need to get a flange for your respective bov. The rubber 90 degree hose is an ugly relocator for the blow off valve. The bigger nipple connects to the IDLE CONTROL valve which also has a big nipple coming off it. This I belive is what is in your LAST post...but mine is metal so I don't know. The LM kit should have come with a long black rubber hose to go on that nipple.pic 4)That rubber hose coming off the hotpipe of the intercooler plugs into one of the nipples of the boost controler...I can't remember if it's the IN or OUT (check the instructions). The other nipple off the boost controler solenoid box goes into the wastegate.

hope this helps out bro

For your boost controller, you need to run that line from the cold pipe to the wastegate, but basically, it needs to be split in the middle by your boost controller. Kinda get what I mean? The in on the BC comes from the coldpipe and the out goes out to the wastegate.

Thanks so much for all the help guys. If my harness gets here by Friday, I hopefully will be running by next week. I have severe boost fever after driving my friends turbo GTI last night. Except that car is only a bland taste of what is in store for me. I can't wait! Thanks again.
