I'm almost finished with installing my new wire harness and I run into this.

On frsport.com the first step is to clip the white clip coming from ECU plug that goes to the dash wires. You rewire the ka white clip where the sr white clip is because the sr clip wont plug in. Well after realizing the white clip has never been clipped in(coming from the ecu plug) to the plug just above the ecu I'm a lost. Instead those wires were connected to the brown clip. Take a gander

Here's the ka white clip wired to the ecu plug, the main problem is that white clip does not fit. The clipped off sr white clip fits in Why was I supposed to clip that off? Another gander

This brown clip is wired into the ecu plug instead of the white clip. Thats the way it was. So I want the new one to be exactly right. So what do I do?

1989-1990 240SX's had white clips, in 1991-1994 the 240SX got a brown clip, or something like that.

You just need to link the wires that match colors between the ECU clip and the dash clip.

There should only be about 5 that match, if you really need to know their functions or colors just ask.

I have a brown and a white clip hanging from my dash. Which one should I use? I have a 93.

From the looks of things it should be the brown clip, do you have a pic of the white one? Wire colors? Number of wires?

This is the sr white clip that was cut off, clipped into one of the dash plugs.

The white SR clip in picture is the one that was cut off but fits the plug. Colors in plug: Color/Stripe colorGreen/RedOrange/BlackGreen/WhiteGreenGreen/BlackRed/WhiteOrangeBlue/GreenBlue/WhiteYellow/GreenYellow/RedBlue/BlackThat concludes the SR white clip.

The clip that was plugged in is the brown oneWires that were hooked up:BlackYellow/RedOrangeYellow/Green

It makes more sense to use the brown one like like you said speedracer, but what is the white clip for? I'm obviously supposed to plug it in and have both clips wired up, so whats my next move?

Just use one clip from the SR one from the KA. You decide which one to use based on which wires go from the KA wiring actually back into the dash. And you use the wires that go from the SR clip down into the ECU harness region.

The yellow/red, orange, and yellow green are really the only three that NEED to be wired for the engine to run. Others are for Consult wiring, AC, and Climate control features on the JDM chassis.

Speedracer, once again you are da bomb! I used the brown clip because the other sr clip is pretty much done for now. Cars running but not top notch.

Where do I install the water temp. sensor?
