car still wont run, it turns on and stays on but once u give it gas its starts choking and itll just shut off, my ecu has code 55 so i know its not that, unless its messed up, also i tried my ecu and maf on a different car with a rb and the other motor ran good so i know those r good any idea btw r u in tucson?

Seen this happen before. Is there a chance you forgot a plug or tape anywhere in the intake tract?

That happened to my first SR swap. Unplug the maf and start it and see if it works then (should be in safe mode and have an early rev limit). When I unplugged mine it ran fine to 3k rpm. Plugged the maf in, started but if I even sneezed on the gas pedal, it would stutter and die. It is worth a try. Also check your tps voltage too.

nope everything looks plugged in, vacuums and all.

does anyone know how a rb20 would run if the CAS was set wrong cause im thinking thats my problem.
